Kearney Federal offers several checking accounts to help best suite your individual needs.

Share Draft Account
A dividend bearing account that requires a $200 daily minimum balance to avoid $3.00 monthly service charge.

Cheap Checking Draft Account
A non-dividend bearing account without a monthly service charge account that does not require a minimum balance.

Student Checking Draft Account
A non-dividend bearing account without a monthly service charge account that does not require a minimum balance.

Diamond Club Draft Account - for our owners who are 50+
A higher dividend bearing account that requires an average daily balance of $1000 to avoid a $5.00 monthly fee.
Money orders, Travelers Cheques, and Cashier's Checks are all free with this account.
All draft accounts offer the first 50 checks free, debit/ATM cards, unlimited check writing, and overdraft protection is available.

Share Savings Accounts
A share savings account is required to utilize additional services at the Credit Union.
$25 minimum opening deposit and a one time $1.00 membership fee.
Twelve (12) withdrawals allowed per calendar quarter after which a $1 fee will be imposed for each withdrawal.

Kids Club Accounts
To owners 18 years old and younger that requres a $5 minimum opening deposit.

Money Market Account
A higher dividend earning savings account that requires a $5,000 minimum balance with two (2) free withdrawals per month.

Christmas Club Share Account
A special savings account designated to help you save for the holidays. This account lets you deposit any time throughout the year and then every November, the balance plus dividends will be sent you to use for your holiday shopping.

Share Certificates
$500 minimum deposit with dividends compounding quarterly.

Money Orders - KFCU offers money orders to all owners for a $1.50 fee per money order.
Travel Money Card - A Visa Card that can be issued in the Credit Union for travel purposes and can be used anywhere. The fee is $7.00 for initial card and $2.50 to reload card.
Balance - A Money Management program that gives member free and low cost financial counseling services. Visit the website at www.balancepro.net or call 888-456-2227
Cashiers Checks - Owners can have a quaranteed fund cashiers check made out to them for any amount for free. Checks that are made out to another party do have a $2.00 fee.
Free Notary Service - Owners can have one of our two loan officers notarize any document at no cost during office hours.
Wire Transfers - Outgoing wire are $10 and $40 for international outgoing wire. Incoming wires are accepted as well for a $2 fee.
Payroll Deduction - Owners can opt for payroll deduction to pay loans or deposit into shares for no charge.
Direct Deposit - Owners can have their paychecks automatically deposited into their share draft or share account if their employer offers direct deposit.
Drive thru window - KFCU has two drive through lanes that are open from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday.
ATM/Debit Cards - KFCU has five free ATM's in Kearney that are free of charge to use. There is a $1.50 foreign ATM fee per transaction. Debit cards can be used anywhere that MasterCard is accepted. All funds will be automatically deducted from the owners checking account.
